Richard "Dick" Cormier Worked summers at Mt. View CLEARWATER, Fla. -- E. Richard "Dick" Cormier, 78, of Clearwater, Fla., died on Saturday, March 20, 2004 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. He was born in Lancaster and moved to Clearwater in 1956 from Whitefield. He retired as superintendent of services after 28 winter seasons at the Belleview Biltmore Hotel in Belleair, Fla., and summers at the Mountain View House in Whitefield. He was a member of St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Clearwater. The family includes his wife of 47 years, Lois; three sons, John R., Steven P. and James M., all of Clearwater, Fla.; a sister, Elizabeth Hartford of Lancaster; and four grandchildren. The Rhodes Funeral Directors, Druid Chapel, in Clearwater, Fla. are in charge of arrangements. Grace H. Moffett Mother, grandmother WHITEFIELD -- Grace H. (Mills) Moffett, 85, died on April 10, 2004 at Morrison Nursing Home in Whitefield, where she had been a resident since 1999. Born on December 3, 1918 in Groveton, a daughter of Homer and Gertrude (Morgan) Mills, she attended Groveton Schools and was of the Methodist faith. She lived in Connecticut for 10 years and then in Norway, Me. until 1980, moving to Gorham and living there from 1981 to 1999. The family includes two daughters, Judith Treamer of Gorham, and Joanne and her husband Elmer Young of Maidstone, Vt.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Thelma Bickford of Groveton and Marilyn Currier of Gorham; and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Howard Moffett died in 1978. A calling hour was held on April 13 at the Main-Armstrong Funeral Home in Groveton, followed by a funeral service at the funeral home with the Rev. Peter Parent, pastor of the Groveton United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial followed at the Riverside Annex Cemetery in South Paris, Me. Turgeon, 84, died on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at Genesis Health Care Facility in Lancaster, after a brief illness. He was born on April 19, 1919 in Buckland, Que., Canada, a son of Alphonse and Alice (Chabot) Turgeon. Mr. Turgeon attended school in Canada. He was a self-employed truck driver most of his life. He first drove in Canada, then moved to the United States in 1947. He also worked for Ethan Allen Furniture, Beecher Falls, Vt., from 1970 to 1982. He enjoyed working and dedicated much time to St. Albert Church and St. Albert School in West Stewartstown. The family includes his wife of 49 years, Germaine (Langlais) Turgeon of Stewartstown; a son, Guy Turgeon of Clarksville; a daughter, Ginette Turgeon of Lebanon; a brother, Raymond Turgeon of Buckland, Que.; five sisters, Adrienne Boutet of Quebec City, Adeline Paquette of Montreal, Marie-Claire Phillips of Fernie, B.C., Aline Prud’Homme of Laval, Que., and Alice Nicol of Charny, Que.; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours were held on Friday at Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday at St. Albert Church in West Stewartstown, with the Rev.
