Margaret Frances Elliott Homemaker MOUNT DORA, Fla. -- Margaret Frances Elliott, 91, of Mount Dora, Fla., passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 23, 2004. She was born to the late Jesse Martin Kay and Mary Edna (Burroughs) Kay on September 18, 1912 in Portsmouth, Va. She and her family moved to Florida in 1957. Mrs. Elliott was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her children. She also loved to crochet and knit. She was a longtime member of the Mount Dora Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Elliott's husband of 60 years, Raymond A. Elliott, died in 1988. Her family includes three daughters, Virginia A. Glines, of Whitefield, N.H., Betty F. Fissette, of Berlin, N.H., and Sylvia M. Baker, of Eustis, Fla; one son, James E. Elliott, of Osteen, Fla; 12 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 29, at noon at Pine Forest Cemetery in Mount Dora, with Pastor Richard Wagoner officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Allen J. Harden Funeral Home, Mount Dora. Corey B. McFadden Was paraeducator NEWBURY -- Corey B. McFadden, 30, died on Thursday evening, June 24, 2004 in Newbury. He was the son of Thomas and Diane (Greene) McFadden and Cathleen (Winn) and Chester Garrison. Mr. McFadden received his education in Springfield, Vt., Claremont, Laconia and Groveton. He was graduated from Groveton High school in 1992. He was employed as a paraeducator and worked with special needs children. He also enjoyed Motocross racing. The family includes his parents, Thomas and Diane McFadden of Springfield, Vt. and Cathleen and Chester Garrison of Pascagoula, Miss.; a special friend, Hillary Johnson of Newport; one son, Branton McFadden and one daughter, Hannah McFadden, both of Newport; his paternal grandmother, Mary McFadden of Springfield, Vt.; five brothers, Thomas McFadden of Kellogg, Id., Robert McFadden of Springfield, Mass., Michael McFadden of Perkinsville, Vt., Brian McFadden of Springfield, Vt., and Michael Paul of Chester, Vt.; two sisters, Vicky Dunn of Groveton and Cathy Paul of Springfield, Vt.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, June 29 at the Advent Christian Church in North Springfield, Vt. The Rev. Floyd McIntyre, pastor, officiated. Burial followed. Contributions may be made in his memory to a savings account to benefit his children in care of the Lake Sunapee Savings Bank, New London, NH 03257. Berry of Twin Mountain died at home on June 15, 2004 after a brief but gracious battle with cancer, with her loving companion William J. Matthews and family by her side. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 2 at the Church of Christ on North Main Street (by the Fairgrounds) in Lancaster, with Tom Jackson, pastor, officiating. Committals Anita L. Forrest GROVETON -- Anita L. (Cloutier) Forrest, 79, of 16 Riverside Drive in Groveton died on January 5, 2004. Born on March 9, 1924 in Berlin, the daughter of Adelard and Roseanna (Bergeron) Cloutier, she was a lifelong resident of Groveton. Burial will be held in the Northumberland Cemetery on Friday, July 2 at 1 p.m., with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor of St. Francis Xavier Church, officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Anita's name to the Alzheimer's Association, Concord Regional Office, 10 Ferry Street, Suite 427B, Concord, NH 03301-4059. Stone, who died on November 12, 2003 in West Covina, Calif., will be held on Saturday, July 3 at 11 a.m. in Summer Street Cemetery in Lancaster.
