She was a native and life long resident of Claremont, NH, born on January 26, 1914 the daughter of Amos and Victoria Rose (Page) Breault. Mrs. Buinicky worked for twenty years as a clerk for Dixon's Supermarket. She was a communicant of St Mary's Church and a Eucharistic Minister, a member of Court Virgil H. Barber #892 Catholic Daughters of the Americas, the St Anne Society, Keene Emblem Club, the Senior Congress Association and the AARP. She was a former member and Past President of the Claremont Emblem Club, a former member and President of the Girl Scouts and a former chairman of the Widows Group. She was the widow of John J. Buinicky whom she married on June 11, 1934 and he died December 5, 1980. The surviving family includes three daughters, Shirley Ann Sullivan and her husband, Fred of Cornish, Priscilla Tetreault and her husband, Rocky of Houston, TX and Elizabeth E. "Betty" Donovan and her husband, Dan of Claremont; five grandchildren, Joan M. Dumayne, Chuck Sullivan, Todd Tetreault, Monica Rook and Kimberly Gray; nine great-grandchildren, Shanna Sullivan, Natasha Sullivan, Jason Dumayne, Jesse Dumayne, Jenna Dumayne, Jodi Dumayne, Ashley Marie Tetreault, Rocco John Tetreault III and Brooke Dumont; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Sue Ann Marshall Tetreault in 1987, one grandson, Mark Donovan in 1996; one great-granddaughter, Amber Tetreault in 1986; also one brother, Henry Breault, and two sisters, Margaret Breault and Christina Dings. Stone, 69, of Pearl Street in Claremont, NH, died Thursday evening, March 17, 2005 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He was born in Wilder, VT on December 20, 1935 the son of Ernest J. and Lizzie May (Carter) Stone and had resided in Claremont for the past thirty-two years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the US Army. Kenneth retired from the City of Claremont's Water Department where he worked for twelve years and had previously worked in the Highway and Parks Departments for eleven years. He loved hunting, fishing, wrestling and having a "cold one" with his friends while listening to country music. He was the widower of Ramona K. (Wilkinson) Stone whom he married on June 1, 1957 and she died January 2, 1994. The surviving family includes two daughters, Debbie Chapin and her husband, Michael of Cornish and Teresa Stone of Claremont; one son, Richard Stone of Manchester, NH; two grandchildren, David E. Stone and Steven Stone both of Claremont; one great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Renae Stone; nine sisters, Maxine Picard of Claremont, Irene Hill of W. Lebanon, Madeline Haynes of Haslett, MI, Susan Armstrong of Florida, Mary Labine of Middleburg, FL, Marie Stone of Barre, VT, Fern Lusco of Quechee, VT, Frieda Cooley of Windsor, VT and Rita Hill of LaPorte, FL; four brothers, George Stone of Barre, VT, Percy Mills, Jr. of Nashua, Gerald Mills of Plainfield and Vernon Clifford of North Pomfret, VT also numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy Eleanor Laushance Dorothy Eleanor Laushance, 83, of Eric Place in Claremont, NH, died Friday morning, March 18, 2005 at the Veterans Administration Center in White River Junction, VT. She was born in Lebanon, NH on June 12, 1921 the daughter of Charles Albert and Alice Cordelia (McComb) Ploof, Sr. and had resided in Claremont most of her life. Mrs. Laushance was a veteran of World War II having served in the Women's Army Corps. She was employed as a clerk for twenty-five years at Bucko's Pharmacy on Pleasant Street. The surviving family includes her husband, James Arthur Laushance of Claremont, whom she married on March 23, 1948; two step-sons, David Laushance of Oklahoma and Victor Laushance of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Reginald Ploof of Lebanon and Charles Ploof of Claremont; two sisters, Philens Boucher of Claremont and Ann Marie Williams of Arizona. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Christa Cheney and Rena Emmerson. A memorial service will be held at the Veteran's Administration Center in White River Junction, VT in the Chapel on Saturday afternon, March 26th at One O'clock. He was born in Newport, VT on March 23, 1916 the son of Alphonse and Catherine (Decoteau) Paradis and was a near life-long resident of Claremont. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the Navy SeaBee's. Mr. Paradis was employed as a maintenance supervisor at the Old Sullivan and Joy Manufacturing Co. for thirty-seven and a half years and retired in 1978. He previously worked for Goodyear and Charles Abbot Electrical Contractor. He was a communicant of St. Mary Church, a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post 808 and the American Legion Post 29. The family includes his wife, Lena (Maiola) Paradis of Claremont, whom he married on September 5, 1938; one son, Robert J. Paradis and his wife Dorothy of Peculiar, MO; one daughter, Katherine Luopa and her husband Kenneth of Troy, NH; six grandchildren, John Luopa, Mark Luopa, Tim Luopa, Jenny Muraski, Lance Paradis and Theresa Greer; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Oscar Paradis of Riverside, CA; nieces, nephews and cousins. Frank Walter Connor (see photo - http://www.usgwarchives.net/nh/obits/photos/2005/connor_frank_walter.jpg) Frank Walter Connor, 72, died March 3, 2005 at the home of his daughter in Maine after a battle with cancer. Born July 15, 1932 in Nashua, New Hampshire, Frank was the son of Harold and Marion Connor. He worked on the family farm in his youth, and after graduating from Henniker, NH, high school, he attended Oberlin College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Following his graduation, he served in the U.S. Army, and during this time he married Dorothy Crawford of Mansfield, Ohio. On January 22, 2005, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. He received his Masters Degree in Education from Keene State College, and in 1957 Frank began teaching at Stevens High School where he taught until his retirement in 1993. In addition to his teaching duties, he coached basketball and served as a track coach for many years. Frank Connor was active during his retirement and maintained memberships in the NEA of New Hampshire, the Sullivan County Retired Educators Association, the New Hampshire Retired Educators Association, and the National Council of Social Studies Teachers. He was a fellow of the Loyal Order of Moose where he served for many years as administrator, and he was Director of Investments for the Universalist Church in Claremont. Mr. Connor also served on the Claremont City Council for seven years. Frank was a devoted family man and was happiest when he was with them. He traveled often, visiting Japan, Russia, England, and Liberia in addition to the warm spots that he loved, including Hawaii and the Caribbean. His grandchildren loved to hear his stories of racing cars as a young man, piloting an airplane around New England, or driving his Harley-Davidson to college. He took great pleasure in following the stock market, with his family and friends often looking to him for investment advice. Frank had one of the best vegetable gardens in Claremont and always shared his produce with his friends. He will be remembered as one who had a great sense of humor and a cheery greeting for everyone. Surely his presence will be greatly missed. His surviving family includes his wife Dorothy and three children: Edith (Connor) Berger of Waldoboro, Maine, Beth Connor of Washington, Maine, and William (Bill) Connor of Berwick, Maine; one sister, Jane Nielsen of Sunapee, New Hampshire; four grandchildren, Alex and Kirsten Connor and Mollie and Sophie Berger; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Howe, 95, died Sunday evening, March 20, 2005 at Peaceful Harvest Home in Charlestown. She was born in Grafton, VT on April 18, 1909. Dorothy resided in Charlestown for the past nine years and previously lived in Claremont. She leaves many friends including, Phil and Beverly Anderson of Springfield, VT, Janet Golec and all her friends at Peaceful Harvest Home including her favorite young person, Nicholas Greenleaf, also her favorite pets, Athena, Keisha and Koko. She was born in Claremont, NH on August 3, 1948 the daughter of Clifford and Helen (Neal) Davidson. Carol was a graduate of St Mary's High School in the Class of 1966. She lived in South Hampton, MA and Webster, MA for twelve years and returned to Claremont in 1980. Carol was employed at the Claremont School District for the past eighteen years as an Administrative Assistant. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend and loved camping and spending time with her group of special friends. She was a communicant and very active member and Eucharistic Minister of St Mary's Church, a member of the 1st NH Fife & Drum and Cub Scout Pack 38 of Claremont. The surviving family, all residing in Claremont, include her husband, Wayne C. Amell whom she married on May 30, 1992; four sons, Michael Carbee and his wife, Temple, Daniel Carbee and his wife, Jennifer, Bradley Amell and Trisha Colburn and Nathan Amell and Jen Connolly; four grandchildren, Izaha Amell, Gabriel Amell, Alexander Amell and Fionah Carbee; her father, Clifford Davidson; one brother, Lynn Davidson; one sister, Rosemary Richards; her mother-in-law, Theresa Amell; her sister-in-law, Nancy Wilmot and her husband, William, also two aunts, one uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and many very special friends. He was born in S. Acworth, NH on April 12, 1919 the son of Rhoades Spencer and Irene Jessie (Hall) Knight and had resided in Alstead for fifty-eight years. He attended Vilas Schools and was a veteran of World War II having served in the US Army and received the Purple Heart and was on the USS President Coolidge when it went down on Dec. 12, 1942. He was the "Alstead Bicycle Man" and worked on bicycles part time most of his life and also cut and delivered wood. He worked as a foreman at Hannafin's Lumber Mill in Rockingham, VT from 1946 to 1968 and retired in 1999 from Blanch Flower in Alstead where he stacked lumber. He was a member, past treasurer and past president of the Alstead VFW Post #4354. He was the widower of Margaret Ascenith (Pitkin) Knight whom he married on February 3, 1946 and she died November 19, 2000. The surviving family includes two daughters, Dorothy Lee Therrien and her husband, Lawrence of Chester, VT and Sandra Barbara McDermid and her husband, Archie of Langdon; five grandchildren, Michael Augustinowicz, Michelle Farr, Olnette Joslyn, Josette Britton and Donalin Ring; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Clifford Fred Knight of Claremont and nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Dacia Lou Augustinowicz in 1969, one brother, James Forest Knight and one sister, Geneva Evelyn Smolen. Randy Scott Dubreuil Randy Scott Dubreuil, 38, of Long Pond Road in Lempster, NH, died March 17, 2005. He was born in Claremont, NH on September 24, 1966 the son of Ernest W. and Veronica C. (Peck) Dubreuil. He resided in Lempster since 2001 and previously lived in Claremont. Randy was a graduate of Stevens High School. He worked as an assemblyman at Sullivan Industries, later was self employed as a painting contractor, cleaning and landscaping. He loved fishing and taking pictures of landscape scenes. The surviving family includes, his parents of Claremont; one brother, Allan W. Dubreuil; two nieces, Ashlyn and Aleethea Dubreuil; his paternal grandparents, Stephen and Lucille Milan all of Claremont; also aunts and uncles, Stephen Milan, Joan Allen, Cynthia Lamy, Maxine Gibbs, Charles Peck and Stephen Peck. Yutzler, 86, of the Sullivan County Nursing Home, returned into the hands of her loving creator on Saturday evening, March 26, 2005. She was born in Pittsford, NY on Nov. 8, 1918 the daughter of Edward Francis and Mina Marie (Brown) McGeever. She resided in the Ilion, NY area most of her life, nine years in Gainsky Apts. in Herkimer, NY, ten years at Hillside Terrace and a short time at Marion Phillips Apts. both in Claremont. Mrs. Yutzler retired in 1975 as a nurse's aid from the Ilion Hospital in Ilion, NY where she worked for twenty-one years and was also a housewife and homemaker. She was the widow of Eugene Sewell Yutzler whom she married in Nov. of 1940 and he died September 23, 1982, she was also pre-deceased by a grand-daughter, Renee A. Yutzler who died March 10, 1989. The surviving family includes a son, Edward E. She was born in Claremont, NH on December 25, 1922, the daughter of Kazimir and Barbara (Kusiak) Skill. Mary was a graduate of Stevens High School in the Class of 1940. She lived in Newington, CT and worked at the Hartford Provisian Company in New Britain, CT for twenty years, retiring in 1982. She had resided in West Unity for the past twenty-three years. She was a communicant of St Joseph's Church in Claremont, NH, a member of the Newport Senior Center and a volunteer at the Sullivan County Nursing Home for over thirty years. She was the widow of Clyde G. Strout whom she married on February 15, 1947 and he died August 10, 1994. The surviving family includes one son, Michael J.
