Tyree TRANSCRIBED: C Parziale, April 2001 ***************************************************************************** Know all Men by these presents that we Ebenezer Hill of Madbury in the County of Strafford & State of New Hampshire yeoman & Susanna his wife in her right for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred & fifty six pounds lawful money to us in hand before the delivery hereof well and truly paid by Philip Chesley of Durham in said County Gentleman, the receipt whereof we do hereby acknowledge have given granted bargained sold & by these presents do give grant bargain sell a lien enfeoff convey and confirm unto the said Philip Chesley his heirs & afsigns forever a certain tract of parcel of land situate in Madbury aforesaid containing eighty nine acres & is the farm on which we lived for many years & is bounded as follows westerly by land belonging to the heirs of Richard Jones & Anthony Jones foutherly by land of Coll. Sam'l Chesley & easterly by said Chesleys land inpart & parts by land of Thomas Footman & northerly by land of James Pinkham & of the [sd ?] Samuel Chesley - To have and to hold the [sd ?] granted premises with all the privileges and appurtinances to the same belonging to him the said Philip Chesley his heirs & afsigns to their only proper use and benefit forever. And we the said Ebenezer Hill & Susanna his wife & our heirs Executors and administrators do hereby covenant grant and agree to and with the said Philip Chesley his heirs & afsigns that until the delivery hereof I am the lawful owner of the said premises & am seized & pofsefsed thereof in my own right in fee simple & have full power & lawful authority to grant and convey the same in manner aforesaid that the sd. premises are free and clear of all and every Incumbrance whatsoever and that we our heirs Executors & Administrators shall and will warrant the same to him the said Philip Chesley his heirs and afsigns against the lawful claims and demands of any person or persons whomsoever.
