SOURCE: Original Document Strafford County Registry of Deeds Book 58 pages 263-5 SUBMITTED: by Robert Whitehouse TRANSCRIBED: C Parziale, March 2001 ***************************************************************************** Know all men by these presents that I John Whitehouse of Middleton in the county of Strafford & State of New Hampshire, husbandman, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred Dollars to me in hand, before the delivery hereof, well & truly paid by Amos Whitehouse of Middleton aforesaid husbandman, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have given, granted, bargained, sold and by these presents I do give, grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, convey and confirm unto him the said Amos Whitehouse a certain tract or parcel of land fituate in said Middleton, containing fifty acres more or less, being the one half of the lot No. twenty nine drawn to the original right of Thomas Wentworth, and is the northwesterly side of said lot, being part of the lot I now live on ~~ To have and to hold the said granted premises with all the privileges and appurtenances to the same belonging to him the said Amos his heirs & assigns to their only proper use & benefit forever; and I the said John for myself my heirs executors & administrators do hereby covenant grant and agree to and with the said Amos his heirs & assigns that until the delivery thereof I am the lawful owner of the said premises seized & possessed thereof in my own right in fee simple and have full power & lawful authority to grant & convey the same in manner aforesaid, that the premises are free and clear of all & every incumbrance whatsoever; and that I for myself my heirs executors & administrators shall & will warrant the same to Amos his heirs & assigns against the lawful claims & demands of any person or persons whomsoever, & Molly wife of the said John hereby relinguishes all her right of dower & power of thirds of in & unto the said granted premises.
