LANDMARK: Bartlett's Falls NAMES: BARTLETT, Josiah; BARTLETT, Alfred Bartlett's Falls. This name is given on the state map of Lee,² in 1803, to a dam just below the Little river saw-mill, in Lee, where Josiah Bartlett of Haverhill, Mass., acquired a grist -mill privilege May 3, 1774. (See Thompson's Falls.) another Josiah Bartlett, in his will of 1858, gives his son Alfred his mill and mill privilege on "Little river stream."
