This name is given to the homestead of the late Lorenzo Stackpole in Rollinsford, from the profusion of wild cherry trees in the vicinity. Cherry is also used, in part, for the interior wood-work of the house, which was built in the early part of this century by the Philpot family. PG 41 Submitted by C.
