Mentioned Sept. 4, 1766, when Ephraim and Hannah Tibbets conveyed to Job clement 12 ½ acres "on Dover Neck the westerly side of the road to Hilton’s Point ferry, so called," extending to the upper side of the way that leads to Hall’s slip on Back river.
