Part Two of Gazetteer:

HILTON’S POINT - on Piscataqua river forms the S.E. extremity of the town of Dover 
where the main river is formed by the junction Newichawannock and Cochecho rivers with 
the southern and western branches.  From this point to the sea the distance is 7 miles, and 
the course S. to S.E. The current is here so rapid that it never freezes.
