Part Two of Gazetteer:

OYSTER RIVER - has its source in Wheelwright pond in the town of Lee, near the 
southeast extremity of Barrington.  It flows from the east side of the pond in a northeast 
course to Madbury.  Thence turning southerly it crosses the line which separates Lee from 
Durham five times within the distance of two miles.  It thence takes an easterly course, 
and passing through Durham, meets the tide waters at the falls.
