	Douglas Crossman of Portland, Me., and Miss Alice Verna Allen, 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Allen of Western Ave., were wed at the 
Methodist parsonage by Rev. J. N. Armistead, Saturday afternoon at 2.00 
o’clock.  The double-ring service was used.  Elizabeth Allen, sister of the 
bride, and Leslie Annis friend of the bridegroom, were the attendants.  The 
bride wore dark green canton crepe with hat to match and the maid of honor 
wore black canton crepe trimmed with turquoise with hat to match.  After a 
two weeks’ honeymoon to Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Crossman will be at their newly 
furnished home, 1132 Congress street, Portland, Me.
