SUBMITTER: Transcribed by C Parziale, Dec 2000 ***************************************************************************** (ROCHESTER - SANBORNVILLE) Sanbornville, Nov. 3 1930 -- The wedding of Miss Margaret Hattie of Rochester and ex-Congressman William Nathaniel Rogers of this village and Concord took place Thursday of last week in the Central Square Baptist church in Portland, Me. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Ferdinand F. Peterson. The bride for the past four years has been technician and anesthetist at the Frisbie Memorial hospital. Rochester, and assistant to Dr. W. J. Roberts. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Lillian Sanborn Edwards and was born in Sanbornville, Jan 10, 1892. He was educated in the public schools, Brewster academy, Wolfeboro, Dartmouth college, and University of Maine College of Law, receiving the degree of LL. B in 1916. He was admitted to the bar of New Hampshire in 1916, and is a member of the law firm of Demond, Woodworth, Sulloway and Rogers, Concord. He is a member of the N.H. Bar association. He was representative in the legislature in 1917, 1919 and 1921. He was elected to the 68th congress, receiving 36793 votes to 30,694 for John Scammon Republican. He is a Mason, a Knight Templar, Knight of Pythias, member of the St. John-the-Baptist church, Sanbornville, and a trustee of theGafney library. The wedding trip of Mr. and Mrs. Rogers will take them to California by way of Washington. They will make their home in Concord, where Attorney Rogers’ law office is. The couple were attended by Mrs. E.
