The Dover Tribune, Dover, NH April 28, 1932, page 8 Obituaries and Obsequies Death of Mary Alice Twombly Mrs. Mary Alice Twombly, widow of Charlie E. Twombly, died at her home in Barrington on Monday afternoon after a brief illness, aged 53 years, 7 months, and 15 days. She was born in Northwood, the daughter of Irving L. and Delilah A. (Foss) Caswell, but had lived in Barrington nearly all of her life. She is survived by six sons, Frank O. Twombly and William M Twombly, both of Barrington, Gardner C. Twombly of Nottingham, Edgar C. Twombly of Northwood, Merton B. Twombly of Dover and Waldo H. F. Twombly of Deerfield; five daughters, Mrs. Clarence Lovely of Wolfeboro, Mrs. Joseph Davis of Nottingham, Miss Alice M. Twombly of Somersworth, Miss Delie D. Twombly and Miss Ruth K. Twombly, both of Barrington; one brother, Waldo R. Caswell of Lowell; four sisters, Mrs. Albert H. Twombly, Mrs. Reginald Law, Mrs. Charlie Chipman, all of Dover, and Mrs. Gladys M. Freeman of Rochester, also several grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
