The Dover Tribune, Dover, NH April 28, 1932, page 8 Obituaries and Obsequies Death of Mrs. Nora Lawless Mrs. Nora Lawless, widow of the late James Lawless of 76 Central Avenue, died at Wentworth hospital early Sunday morning. She was a life resident of this city and has many friends here who will mourn her passing. Services were held at St. Mary's church Tuesday morning at 8:30. Requiem High Mass being celebrated by the Rev. Fr. Collins, the mass being largely attended by many sorrowing friends and relatives, including members of various societies and organizations of which the deceased was a member. A large and beautiful collection of floral pieces paid further testimony to the high esteem in which she was held by those who knew her best. Honorary bearers from the American Legion Auxiliary of which she was a member were Mrs. Mary Egan, Miss Annie McNeil, Miss Leone Drouin, Mrs. Mary Hanscom, while honorary from the St. Mary's Catholic Woman's Guild were Miss Rose Hughes, Miss Sadie Coogan, Mrs. Frank Leslie, and Mrs. Irving Lockwood. Interment took place in the family lot in St. Mary's new cemetery. Bearers were Edward Savoie, John J. Murphy, Maurice J. Murphy, and Harry McCarthy. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Daniel Hughes. Surviving her are three children, James C. Lawless, Mrs. Catherine O'Connor, both of Dover, and Mrs. Alvina Critchley of Portsmouth, and five grandchildren.
