Obituaries

Sylvia Gibbs

Dover - Sylvia L. Gibbs, 54, of 5 Baker St., died Tuesday, 
February 24, 1987, at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.

Born November 18, 1932, in Belfast, Maine, the daughter of Jeff 
and Margie (Richards) Hall, she had been a former resident of 
Blue Hill, Maine and Belfast, Maine, prior to coming here a year 
ago.

Members of her family include three daughters, Luann Gibbs and 
Darlene Harding, both of Belfast, Maine and Gail Paige of 
Belmont, Maine; a son, Dennis Braley of Bangor, Maine; five 
brothers, Robert Hall, Claude Hall, and Maynard Hall, all of 
Ilesboro, Maine, James Hall of Fairfield, Maine, and Terry Hall 
of Morrill, Maine; four sisters, Janice Kinney of Dover, Sherry 
Hall of Belfast, Maine, Lucille Smith of Saco, Maine and Beverly 
Penney of Thorndike, Maine; seven grandchildren; two aunts; one 
uncle; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held in May at Belfast Cemetery in 
Belfast, Maine.

There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are by the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., 
Dover.

Memorial donations in memory of Sylvia L. Gibbs may be made to 
the Strafford Hospice Care, Post Office Box 339, Rollingsford, 
N.H. 03869.
