	Funeral services for the late Mrs. Christine Gregoire, wife of 
Maurice Gregoire, were held at Holy Rosary church last Thursday morning and 
many relatives and friends were in attendance.  The deceased was born in 
Canada, the daughter of John and Marceline (Havard) LaPlante, and was 75 
years of age.  She was a former resident of Somersworth but had resided in 
this city for the past two years.  Included among the surviving relatives are 
her husband, and two daughters, Mrs. Theodore Vachon and Mrs. Adeline 
Thivierge, both of this city.  The pastor of the church, Rev. A.O. Poirer, 
officiated.  There was a large and beautiful floral tribute.  A beautiful 
committal service was held at the grave, interment being in the family lot in
the Holy Rosary cemetery.  funeral arrangements were in charge of Undertaker 
Henry Grondin.
