TITLE: The Last Will and Testament of Deliverance Hanson SOURCE: Strafford County Probate Office, Dover, NH, Page 2-4 Vol 1 SUBMITTED: Transcribed by C Parziale, Feb 2001 ***************************************************************************** In the name of God Amen, this first day of the seventh month one thousand seven hundred and sixty six, I Deliverance Hanson widow of Joseph Hanson deceas’d of Dover in the Province of New Hampshire in New England being in good health of body and of a sound mind and memory but knowing it is appointed for all women once to die. I do make and ordain this my last will and testament. That is to principally and first of all I recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave it, and my body I commit to the Earth to be buried in a decent manner at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named and as touching such wordly of tale which it hath pleased God to bestow upon me in this life I will that my just debts be paid off give demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form. I hereby constitute and ordain my cousin Remembrance Clark to be my sole executor of this my last Will and Testament. In the first place concerning what I have in this life to dispose of what is not disposed of in my lifetime I give to my Brothers James and Eli Clark and my sister Mary Osborn and equal share of what is not disposed of with what my sister aforesaid hath already had how concerning my sister Sarah Ofbern deceased. I give her children as much as one of my Brothers aforesaid to be equally divided amongst them all now concerning my sister Hannah Renels deceased I give her children an equal share with one of my Brothers to be equally divided among all and I do hereby revoke and utterly disanull all and every other and former will and interests by me in anyway made heretofore ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Interest. In witness where of I have here unto let my hands and seal next day and year first here in above written sign’d seal’d publish’d and deliver’d by the said Deliverance Hanson to be her Last Will and Testament in the presence of us. Joseph Estes Elijah Estes X her mark Moses Varney Recorded agreable to the original by John Wentworth, Junr, Reg Strafford - At a court of Probate held in Dover in said County on the fifth day of April Anno Domini 1773 before the Hon ble John Gage, Esq, Judge of the Probate of Wills for the county aforesaid this will was presented for probate by Remembrance Clark the Executor here named and Elijah Estes and Moses Varney two of the witness to the same appear’d and (being Quaker) solomnly affirmed that they saw the said Testate, Sign and Seal and heard her declare the same to be her Last Will and Testament that at the time of doing it she was to their best discerning of a sound and disposing mind and memory and that they with Joseph Estes subscribed their names together as Witness to the Execution there of in her presence and in the presence of each other wherefore the same is prov’d approv’d and allow’d as the Last Will and testament of the said Deliverance Hanson (#### symbols) Recorded agreable to the Original by John Wentworth, Junr Reg A Warrant was issued in common to Icabod Canney and Stephen Hanson to take Inventory of the Estate of Deliverance Hanson deceased who made return as follows Vol ?
