Lucinda married Henry J. Oliver of Boston. V. James L., died unmarried 1849. VI. Joseph Symonds, married Mary L. Mitchell (see Mitchell family) - children, 1 Flora E. 2 Charles D. 3 Elbron I. VII. Luke Shepherd, married Thankful M. Newell, studied law with Asa Fowler of Concord; practices in Newport; register of probate for Sullivan County since 1861. VIII. Elizabeth Hannah died young. IX. Mary Elizabeth married James A. Wood (see Wood family). X.
