HENRY COFFIN came from Jaffrey previous to 1785, married Mehitable Smith, was a miller in south
Acworth, and was drowned by a freshet which carried off his mill - children,
I. Daniel - married Polly Currier (see Currier family); from him "Coffin Hill" takes its name; 
removed to Johnson, Vermont. - children, 
	1. Alvira married Joseph Bruce
	2. Lucy
	3. Arial  - residence Boston
	4. Martha - died young
	5. Henry - died young
William Markham was guardian for Moses, David and Lucy Coffin, children of Henry Coffin, in 1785.
