George, graduated at Dartmouth College in 1832' studied divinity at Andover Theological Seminary ordained pastor of a Congregational Church at Amherst, Massachusetts. January 16, 1839, dismissed 1852; became President of the University of Tennessee; resigned and now resides in Boston; married Mary Gay of Nashua. III. Henry Grout graduated at Dartmouth College 1841. He read law and practiced in New York City some time; then went south as an instructor; married Helen M. daughter of Rev. John Smith IV. Phineas, graduated at Dartmouth College, 1843, read law in New York City eighteen months; then went South as a teacher, and died in Mississippi. V.
