JAMES LYONS, with Robert McClure, was the first settler of Hillsboro; he was the father of
William, Margaret, and Molly Lyons;
William - married Martha McClure (see McClure family), settled in Acworth - children,
I. Margaret - died unmarried.
II. James - died unmarried.
III. Mary - died unmarried.
IV. Thomas was in the war of 1812.
V. Betsey - married Jesse Wallace (see Wallace family).
VI. Patty - died unmarried.
Molly - married Deacon Robert McClure
Margaret - married John McClure (see McClure family).
