John born 1756, in Londonderry, settled in Acworth 1784 - died 1814 - married Sarah Grimes of Chester - children, I. William - married Lucy Shumway of Charleston, removed to Alstead - died 1839. II. Alexander - married ____ ____ of Alstead - died 1865 in Alstead. III. John - married Kezia Garfield of Langdon - died 1858, in Alstead IV. Betsey - married Jesse Williams - removed to New York - children, 1. Philinda 2. Sally 3. ______ 4. George V. Sarah - died young. VI. David - married Mary Goss of Dummerston, removed to Boston. VII. George - married Polly Maynard - removed to Claremont. VIII.
