EBENEZER1 PLACE, appears to have lived on lot 15, range 2, in Acworth and supposed to have died prior to 1836. He married June 18, 1829, Mary (Polly) Dickey of Acworth, a daughter of Capt.James Dickey. She was a nurse, came to Langdon and purchased the Joseph Smith farm, No. 270, 5 acres land and buildings 1836/37. She let the place to Joel Smith, and later to David or LeonardWhitney. She removed West, taking her church letter from Langdon to Dubuque, Iowa, Sept. 22, 1867, and died at Waterloo that state Sept. 11, 1874--Data from Miss Lenna Dickey of Alstead. Children born: i.
