MEHUMAN STEBBINS came from Ashford Connecticut to Acworth about 1771 - married Hannah Keyes .
(see Keyes family). They were the first couple married in town. Every person in town was present at their marriage, which was at Henry Silsby's during the Sabbath service - children,
