Saunderson p.287 The earliest ancestor of the BOND family of Charlestown, NH came from England and settled at Pigsgusset afterwards called Watertown, MA.  His son, William Bond, the first born in this country m. (1) Sarah Briscoe b. Feb 1, 1650.  He m. (2) Elizabeth Benjamin, who survived him.  He had children only by his lst wife, Sarah Briscoe.  Thomas Bond, his son, who also settled at Watertown, MA m. Sarah Wilson. William Bond, son of Thomas Bond, b. at Watertown, MA March l757 m. aged 22, Sarah Parks dau of David and Sarah (Gibbs) Parks of Lincoln, MA b. Dec. l7, l765 and soon after they removed to Charlestown, NH.  He entered the army at l8 yrs. and witnessed the bloodshed at Lexington, MA and was at the battle of Bunker Hill. He was also in the unfortunate expedition ot Quebec.  He d. Oct 22, l85l; she died Sept 8, l845.   Their children: 1.   William Bond b. June l2, l784 settled at Walpole, NH 2.   Sally Bond b. William Tidd Res: Woburn, MA 5.   Laura Bond b. March l797 d. unm. 6.   Silas Bond b.
