Dean Conant died at Charlestown Mayl3, l835.  He was clerk in Aaron Dean's store.  The Evangelical Congregational church was organized at the house of Mr. Conant. After the marriage of her daughter to Dr. E. C. Worcester she resided at Thetford. p.298 Nathaniel Challis and his wife Dolly came to Charlestown, NH as early as l8l7.  He d. l855 age 94.  She d. l826 age 58.  Benjamin Challis, son of Nathaniel Challis m. Nancy Conant on Oct 8, l825 and d. Nov l2, l854 aged 64.  Their children: l. S. Britania Challis d. l833 age 5 yrs.         2. Alma Ann Challis d. l833 age 2 yrs.         3. Frances Challis         4. Sally Challis. Capt.
