Aug 24, l798 (was unm. and living Jan 7, l876.)      Author's note:  The greater part of his life has been spent in this place,      where he has many friends.  Though advanced in years he still retains      much of the vivacity of youth, and appears to be equally welcomed in      the society both of the youn and the old. 3.  Charles A. Delano b. abt l80l m. Mary Cathcart Hamatt and settled at      Charlestown, NH; d in l853 in CA. 4.  Eliza A. Delano b. l804 d. Dec 22, l828. 5.  Hepsibeth B. Delano b. abt l805 m.William H. Swan and settled at      Worcester, MA.  He d. at Constantine, Michigan.  She is now (l876) with her      dau, Eliza in Geneva, Switzerland, who m. William Heath of New York. 6.  Henry Delano b. abt l808 m. Maria Carter.  The above were all born in      New Bedford, MA. 7.  Mary S. Delano b. at Charlestown, NH l8l4 m. William O. Fisk and is now (l876)      living in Pekin, ILL. 8.  Laura M. Delano b. Apr 27, l8l7 m. Robert Brett Schenk and d. Aug 29,      l854. 9.  Martha Delano b. abt l8l9 m. James H. Watts d. in Rochester, NY. Abisha Delano removed from New Bedford, MA to North Charlestown, NH in l8l0. While in New Bedford he was a sea captain.  In Charlestown his occupation was that of a farmer. p.643  War of 18l2 Names of Soldiers of Capt. Nathan Glidden's Company, belonging to Charlestown enlisted Sept. l3, l8l4 for three months.
