Saunderson p.354 Ebenezer Fletcher came to Charlestown l808 and removed in l824.  He built the last house at the north end of the west side of Main St. now owned by Harriet Baker. The house standing first south of the Fletcher House as it was called was his shop.  The name of his wife is not recollected.  His children were Eliza L. Fletcher and Hiram A. Fletcher (a distinguished lawyer at Lan- caster, NH., Kimball (Fletcher) Batcheller and Mary Fletcher, also Lucy Fletcher.  A very good character was given to him by those who knew him. p.354 Samuel Laselle Fletcher son of Joel and Dolly (Silsby) Fletcher b April l820 at Orwell, Vt. m. l846 at Clare- mont NH Catherine Macauley Jones dau of Abraham and Susan (Long) Jones b. at Claremont May l824.  Their children: 1. Ellen Louisa Fletcher b. l849 became a watchmaker    and jeweler 2. Katie Marselia Fletcher b. l85l d. l866 3. Mary Eliza Fletcher b. l854.
