1. GILMAN1 ABBOTT, b. Bradford, Vt.; a farmer in L., 1859; assisted by the town;
lived on the George Prouty place. He m. Maryann ---, b. Claremont. Ch. b; (order
of b. unk.)

	i. A son2, -----, b. in Al., March --- 1959.
(The school in S-W District, (May 1859) had new pupils, and probably belonging to
this family; Susan, John, George).

2. IRA S1. ABBOTT, b. about 1839; came to L., 1869/70, and remained a year of two.
He was a member of the town military company; a laborer; and married. He or another
of the same name remained in L., till 1883.
