BENJAMIN1 HUDSON (possible of Chesterfield) came to L. about 1815 and remained about four years. In 1816-18 Mr. Hudson, Moody Hudson and Benjamin Elwell were jointly interested in a few acres of land in the village, bounded on Great Brook and the mill pond. -- From Cheshire R. of D. He m. Milly ____. He appears to have been emp. in the "fulling mill" which stood at or near the old Kingsbury grist mill, No. 143. 2. MOODY1 HUDSON (perhaps a son or bro. of Benjamin1), came into town, in 1815/16, and rem. 1820; was interested in village property. He m. ---Keturah---. He was a "clothier" and ran a "fooling mill" on Great Brook.
