She was born in Acworth, Sullivan county, New Hampshire, on the 27th day of November, 1844, moved to Wisconsin in 1852 and from there to Minnesota, near this place in 1858. Was married to Joseph Dilley in 1863. She was the mother of two children, May and Edgar. The disease which terminated her life was of short duration. She left her family on Monday, April 15th, and was buried in Garden City cemetery on Wednesday following. She was of a noble nature, a loving, faithful wife and an affectionate dutiful mother.
