 LEWIS C. BROWN
 
BRIGANTINE - Lewis C. Brown, 86, of 211 13th St. N. died Wednesday in Atlantic 
City Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Brown was a retired glassmaker and lived here 25 years.  He was born in 
Thorofare and was head usher of Brigantine Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Myrtle E.; two sons, Albert of Burlington and Stanley 
W., of here; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Lafferty of Miami, Fla., and Mrs. Louis 
A Layden of here; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Plum Funeral Home here, followed by 
services at 11 a.m. at Brigantine Baptist Church.  Burial will be at Greenwood 
Cemetery, Pleasantville.  There will be no viewing.

Of  211 13th st., N., Brigantine, on January 2, 1974, LEWIS C., age 86 years, 
husband of Myrtle E. Brown.  Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral, 
Saturday, 10:30 a.m. from the Plum Funeral Home, 32nd and Brigantine ave., 
Brigantine.  Services Saturday 11 a.m. from the Brigantine Baptist Church.  
Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Pleasantville.  There will be no viewing.  In 
lieu of expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Brigantine 
Baptist Church.
