Edward James Marino was born Edward James Sterling. He was adopted by his 
stepfather Anthony Marino and his name was legally changed. He was a pilot and 
served in WWII in the US Army Aircorps reaching the rank of Staff Sgt. He had 
one stepson Walter Monroe Wess and four natural children, Linda Lee Marino 
Currier, Edward Frederick Marino, Virginia Lee Marino McCabe, Kim Lee Marino 
Shank.

Additional Comments:
Mechanical genius. Invented Pre rotation landing gear for the US Army Aircorps 
during WWII.
