I wracked my brains and came up with the name Koponick, which my sister believes is correct. She had a daughter Doxie. This may prove of benefit in obtaining material later.- VES NOTE: I wrote to an Adeline Koponick, who turned out to be the first wife of the husband of Elizabeth Koponick, the mother of Doxie. She verified the information, and said that Elizabeth and Doxie had both, basically, disappeared just shortly before, from their abode and business, a Trailer Park in Swedesboro or Pedricktown, NJ.- VES =============================================================================== Now for some personal notes on my mother... [Vincent Edward Summers] My mother was the daughter of Adele Kite Stockham AYRES and granddaughter of Fannie Bockius Fitzgerald STOCKHAM.. She was basically raised in Moorestown, New Jersey. She married, family tradition has it, to one Roy L. Richardson, because of possible social pressure by her parents. Shortly after, she divorced. She then married Vincent DePaul Summers. Purportedly, Adele's father had died before ever meeting Vincent (Ref: Gail Bleistein). They met through friends, surnamed MARSH. I think Harry Marsh was known by my father through WWII. Adele cared for her children, Vincent Edward, Gail Elizabeth, and Gregory Ralston, at home. She later worked for Wanamakers in NJ. She majored 1 year in English, in Washington, DC area, but abandoned this to marry Vincent. She taught piano out of her home in Haddonfield, NJ. Her homes, after marriage were in Walworth Apartments, Delaware Township, NJ; 11 Grant Ave.,in Erlton, NJ.; and then at 210 Jefferson Ave., Haddonfield NJ, and finally, at 501 Whitman Drive, Haddonfield, NJ. Sometimes this address was referred to as Barrington, NJ. She was a member of the DAR, showing great interest in her family history. She was a kind and tender mother, and involved her son Vincent in her personal hobbies, of Classical Music, Antique Glassware and Bisque, and African Violets, as well as Genealogy. She enjoyed yearly trips to Ocean City, NJ, often, toward the end, at 35th and Asbury Avenues., across the street from the baseball field. Vincent E.
