Bowker This indenture made the eleventh Day of March in t he year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen Between Ephraim Clark of the city of Philadelphia in the State of Pennsylvania and Joseph Bowker of Mount Holly in the county of Burlington and state of New Jersey of the other part Witnesseth the sd Ephraim Clark for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred & thirty Dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath granted, bargained and sold, aliened, enfeoffed, conveyed and confirmed and by these present Doth grant, bargain and sell alien enfoeff, release, convey and confirm unto the sd Joseph Bowker his heirs & assigns All that certain Dwelling house and lot of land situate in Mountholly aforesaid bounded as follows, viz Beginning at a post in High street corner to a lot of land John Budd formerly bought of the executors of Thomas Shreve Esquire the Elder now joseph Butterworths thence bounded by the same south eighty six Degrees East the --- of the houses the line, one chain and fifty links to post in the line of land formerly Allisons --- Joseph Butterworths thence North one degree East Twenty feet and two inches to a post corner to a lot late John Justices now Margaret Clothiers thence North eighty six degrees east the side of the house in the line one chain & fifty links to a post in High Street aforesaid thence on a straight line to the place of Beginning be the contents more or less Together with all and singular the buildings & improvements rights liberties privileges hereditaments & appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions & remainders rents uses & profits thereof, and every part & parcel thereof and also all the estate of the said Ephraim Clark both in law and equity of & tow the same To have & to Hold the house & lot of land hereditaments & premises unto the said Joseph Bowker his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and benefit & behoof of him the said Joseph Bowker his heirs and assigns forever In Witness whereof the said Ephraim Clark hath hereunto set his hand :& seal the day & year first above written 1815 Ephraim Clark Signed sealed & Delivered in the presence of the name "Joseph" written --- --- and the name "Abigail" Bowker wife of first used Jno.
