Synopsis of death notices for the Gahagan Family of Burlington, NJ. 

Patrick Gahagan (Geoghedan) (1846-1873)

   Patrick Gahagan was born in 1846 in Galway County, Ireland and died on
August 29, 1873 as a result of injuries sustained at work. He was the son of
Patrick and Mary Gahagan. He married Ellen Brogan on July 6, 1869. They had
two daughters, Mary (Conrey) and Margaret (O'Neill).  Ellen Brogan was born
on March 4, 1847 in Ireland to John and Mary Brogan and died on January 24,
1911.  She married John Shelley on April 17, 1897. They had five children:
John, Frank, Anna, Nellie and Charles. Ellen was the step-mother of Harry and
Walter Shelley.

Margaret Gahagan O'Neill (1864-1919)

   Margaret Gahagan O'Neill was the daughter of Patrick and Ellen Brogan
Gahagan and the wife of John O'Neill. She died on December 1, 1919.

John O'Neill (??-1913)

   John O'Neill, the husband of Margaret Gahagan O'Neill, died on July 26, 1913. 
He was employed by Birches Carriage Manufacturer. The couple had three
children.
