Honey Brook Herald, August 29, 1935 

Mrs. Eleanor McCord, wife of Sidney P. McCord, of Camden, N.J., died on Sunday 
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Hartman, in Elverson, in her 53rd 
year. 
  
She was a daughter of Merritt and Sara Pike and was born in Camden.  She had 
been staying with her daughter in Elverson for the past six months. 
  
She is survived by her mother and husband and the following children; Mrs. 
William Hartman of Elverson; and Heber, Merritt, Sidney, Mary, Charles and 
William McCord, of Camden.  Mrs. Walter Henderson, of Warwick, is a sister; 
and Edmund Pike, of Collingswood, N.J., a brother.  Funeral services were held 
yesterday afternoon at the Hartman home in Elverson and interment made in 
Elverson Methodist cemetery.
