All Rights Reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nj/njfiles.htm ********************************************************* These Present witness that I Joseph Badcock of Cape May in the province of New Jersey west Division Shoemaker being sick in body but blessed be god of perfect mind and memory two make this my last will and testament in manner and form following-------- I give to my son George Badcock a two-year-old horse last spring that came of my wifes mare---- I give to my son Jacob Badcock a two-year-old heifer I give to my son Joseph my house and plantation where on I now lived and a mare foal here to son Joseph the same all my wife’s marriage or after the time of her death— I give my son Return a two year old heifer----- I give to my three daughters May, Elizabeth and Sarah two pewter platters and peace and for the fest of my Estate I give to my beloved wife Mary Badcock and for my son Jacob an order shall be bound prestos to John Dole until he comes of age and two appoint my friends Rem Garison and Timothy Bandroth to be my lawful executors here of this thirteenth day of the 6th month Called August 1709 Signed Sealed and Declared to be the last will and testament of this Joseph Badcock in presents of us Thomas Gandy Joseph Badcock (his mark) Silvanus Townsend Rem Gerretson
