ADMINISTRATORS’ SALE.
WILL be sold at Public Sale, on SATURDAY the 29th day of March, 1856, at the late
residence of Henry Shaw, dec’d., in Downes township, the following described
PERSONAL PROPERTY, Viz:
One mare, yoke of oxen, five milch cows, two steers, two heifers, twenty-one head of
sheep, sow and pigs, hog, eight shoats, &c. One two-horse wagon, two one-horse
wagons, harness, horse rake, corn shelter, ploughs, cultivators, harrows, log
chains, ox yokes and chains, wheelbarrow, shovels, forks, rakes, &c.
Household Goods - Such as beds, bedding and bedsteads, tables, chairs, settee,
clock, carpets, looking glasses, desk and drawers, stove, guns, queens, crockery,
earthen and tin ware, pots, kettles, pans, dishes, &c. ALSO,
Twenty acres of wheat, corn and potatoes by the bushel, large lot of manure, lot of
oyster shells and ashes, building stone, ship timber, posts, rails, 1000 feet black
walnut lumber, 150 gallons vinegar, lot brick, pork, lard, cabbage, and a great
variety of articles not mentioned.
Sale to commence at 10 o’clock A. M.; conditions at sale by ARIC C. SHAW,  JOS. F.
JAGGERS, Administrators. D. M. Woodruff, Auctioneer. Downes township, March 22.
