CSA Moves To Nashville, Tennessee
Perhaps the most significant item of news within the last week is the passage of a
resolution by the rebel Congress removing the Confederate Government from Richmond,
Va., to Nashville Tenn., indicating by the act a sense of their own insecurity and
our increasing strength. As they have always managed to learn our plans in advance,
it may be premonitory of a forward movement of our forces in the direction of
Richmond, the details of which have been received by them. The effect of the flight
cannot but have a discouraging effect upon the people of the South, and especially
upon Virginia…
