(Bridgeton, N. J.) 1851-1884: July 21, 1860 July 21, 1860 We learn from a citizen of Mauricetown, that a bear, weighing 398 lbs., was killed in the woods, a few days since, by Ezekiel Mayhew, Wm. Haley and Charles Sharp, of that place. The hide of the animal is in Mauricetown. Perhaps this is the same old bear that was seen a few miles below Bridgeton some four weeks since, on his way to Cape May County.
