Minch Becomes Vice President - Monthly Meeting of the Directors From Saturday's Evening News At the regular monthly meeting of the board of directors of the Bridgeton National Bank, held yesterday, a new president to succeed the late Thomas U. Harris was elected. James W. Trenchard, who has been cashier of the bank since its inception was elected president. Senator Bloomfield H. Minch was elected vice president, a new office. City Treasurer, Samuel Hitchner, who has been assistant cashier, was elected cashier. Those are all admirable selections and give guarantee that the business of the bank will be conducted on the same high plane as formerly. They are gentlemen well versed in the business and possessed of the confidence and esteem of the community. The News extends its congratulations both to the bank and to the officials. Their promotion was well deserved.
