(Bridgeton, N. J.) 1851-1884: June 08, 1861 June 8, 1861 Accident from Burning Fluid. On Tuesday evening last, a daughter of Mr. Thomas Clifford of this town, while lighting a lamp by placing it to the grate of the stove, was severely burned; the fluid coming in contact with her dress, and igniting. Assistance being immediately tendered, she was rescued, and will probably recover.
