West-Jersey Pioneer. (Bridgeton, N.J.) 1851-1884: February 28, 1857 February 28, 1857
We regret to learn that Mr. Samuel F. Lawrence, a young man in Greenwich, met with
quite a serious accident on Thursday of last week. While stooping to pick up a trace
which had fallen from the back of a horse, he was severely kicked just in front of
the left temporal bone, which deprived him of his reason for some time. It was
feared that the blood would settle around the wound and serious results follow. A
physician was called and we are happy to say that he is now considered out of
danger.
