E. Church last evening, the members were given a treat of ripe olives from California and some ripe apples from Jersey. Though the former were more rare it is safe to say that the latter were more enjoyable to some of the members who cannot get their taste cultivated up to the point of olives. Those furnishing the treat were Rev. D. B. Harris and Henry D. Powell, both good friends of the choir, who are regarded as sort of honorary members of the organization. Mr. Powell's part usually being the furnishing of apples and pears, which the choir greatly appreciate.
