(Bridgeton, N.J.) 1851-1884: 18 August 1855 Died on Friday, the 10th inst., near Mauricetown, N. J., Mrs. Ann Compton, consort of Joseph Compton, in the 33d year of her age. The deceased was brought to her end by a lingering pulmonary consumption. In the 18th year of her age she professed the faith in Christ, and united with the Baptist Church at Dividing Creek, of which she continued a consistent and worthy member until called to join the Church triumphant in Heaven... A deeply afflicted husband and two interesting little sons, together with a large circle of kindred and Christian associates mourn her departure; and may they learn to trust in God. G. S.
