West-Jersey pioneer. (Bridgeton, N.J.) 1851-1884: September 06, 1856
Died in Sayre’s Neck, near Cedarville, on the 28th ult., after a protracted illness,
Mr. Ephraim Harris, in the 52d year of his age. The funeral of Mr. Harris was
attended on Saturday morning the 30th, by a large assemblage of afflicted and
sympathizing friends. He was a truly valuable man, such as one as neither his church
nor his community knows how to spare, and by his death, both the church and
community have sustained an irreparable loss.
