West-Jersey pioneer. (Bridgeton, N.J.) 1851-1884: 27 January 1855
Died in Hopewell, on the 20th inst., of disease of the heart, terminating in dropsy
and gangrene of the extremities, Mr. Joseph Robinson, in the 57th year of his age…
His funeral was attended by a numerous congregation on Sabbath the 21st inst., at
the Commerce St. M. E. Church, Bridgeton, of which for several years he was a worthy
and consistent member. He has left behind him a beloved companion and several
children to mourn their loss, but “not as those who have no hope.”
