state of New Jersy I Amos Woodruff one of the Justice of the peace
in & for said County do hereby certify that on the first day of March
last one thousand eight hundred & seventeen greenwich in said County
I married John Preston of Millville in said count and Hannah Dennis of
greenwich and did then pronounce Man and wife agreeable to the laws of 
this state In Testimony whereof I have hereinto set my hand & day and
year above

Note:  This was copied from a copy of the original book from the Clerk's
Office.  It is very difficult to read and I could have misread it.  I 
also believe that the clerk transposed the places that John and Hannah
were from.  Hannah was born in Millville and John was born in Fairfield
