First, I give and bequeath to my son Daniel Woodruff my silver-bowed spectacles; and to my son Jesse Woodruff, I give my large Bible. Second, I give to my daughter-in-law, Ruth, Wife of Daniel Woodruff my plaid gingham gown, and black sattin cloak. Third, I give to my grandaughter, Lovice Parvin, daughter of Daniel & Ruth Woodruff, one of my best calico gowns, and my purple silk shawl, and a flannel peticoat. Fourth, I give to my grandaughter, Sarah, daughter of Jared Woodruff, deceased, one feather bed, bolster, two pillows, one bed-quilt, a low post bedstead, my gold ring, silver knitting-sheath, silver pin-cushion and half a dozen silver tea spoons, all my linen marked with the letters S.W. all my ban-boxes, a large basket, and all the residue of my wearing apparel not otherwise devided, together with the sum of ten dollars lawful money, to be paid to her, by my executor herein after named; but in case of her death before my decease, the whoe therein devised to her, I give to my grandaughter Lovice Parvin above named. It is further my will, that all my caps and white handkerchiefs shall be equally divided share & share alike, between my daughters-in-law, Elizabeth, wife of Thomas Woodruff & Ruth, wife of Daniel Woodruff, and my grandaughter, Sarah aforesaid. Lastly, All the residue of my estate, after my funeral expenses and just debts are paid, I give to my son Daniel Woodruff and to his heirs forever. I appoint my son Daniel Woodruff executor of this my Testament and last Will; in case of his death before my decease I do appoint my daughter-in-law, Ruth, his Wife, if then living; if not, my grandaughter, Sarah above named executrix of the same. In witness whereof, I have hereto set my hand & seal, this Ninth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & eighteen.
